What does your church believe?

Simply put, we believe in what Christians have believed for thousands of years. We believe that God's Word is holy and without error and that Jesus Christ is Lord. To find out more specifically what we believe, click the link below.

I am really struggling. Who can help me?

These last few years have been so hard on so many. We have trained, confidential Stephen Ministers ready to walk with you through this hard season of life at no cost to you. Whether you are facing chronic illness, divorce, job loss, or another kind of pain, Stephen Ministers are regular people who have been trained to walk with people through grief, hardship, and suffering in a Christ-focused way. You or a loved one might benefit from meeting weekly one-on-one with a Stephen Minister. To find out more, click the link below.

What is your children's ministry like?

We have a growing children's ministry and always a lot going on! We offer a special teaching time during the sermon for older kids (Kindergarten - 5th Grade), and we offer nursery & preschool care all service long for younger kids (0 - 6 years old). We also have a Sunday night program called “Barn Stormers” that runs during the school year. On top of that, we have lots of events and opportunities to support families as they disciple their children in the gospel. Also, we have our own mascot… Calvin the Sheep! :) To find out more, just click the link below.

What is your youth group like?

We are so thankful to God that we have a growing and thriving youth ministry. Led by Nathan Moir, our youth ministry seeks to connect youth with the gospel and to provide a community for the youth in our church and community to explore what it means to truly follow Jesus Christ. The Middle School group meets every Sunday night, and our High School group meets every Wednesday night. To find out more, click the link below.

What is your disability ministry like?

We are excited to be growing in our disability ministry. We offer events throughout the year (like a Friendship Dance for adults with IDD) as well as a monthly Mom's support group and Dad’s support group. Beyond that, we provide trained Buddies who watch over children with disabilities on Sunday mornings so that parents and guardians can attend worship services knowing their children are safely included and learning about Jesus! Plus, each year we put on Camp Levi, our own summer camp for families affected by disabilities!

What does ’Presbyterian’ mean?

Great question! We get this one a lot. It’s important to remember that we are, first and foremost, Christians.

We like to say, though, that our church is structured in a presbyterian way. This means our church is led by a group of elders who are elected from within our congregation to lead our church. That's technically what the word 'presbyterian' refers to, that we are led by elders, since presbuteros is the original Greek word in the Bible for 'elder'.

Being a presbyterian church also means that we embrace the theology of the Protestant Reformation, and that we place a high emphasis on God's Word and His sovereignty over all of life.

What does your church believe about ______?

Please know that if you have any questions, our pastor would love to meet with you to talk through any question you may have. Just shoot Dustin an email.

With that in mind, though, it may be helpful to know that our church affirms the following:

  1. The Bible is the Word of God and therefore without error (1 Timothy 3:16)
  2. The only way to be reconciled to God is through faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12)
  3. Marriage and sexuality are gifts from God, to be enjoyed by one man and one woman in covenant union (Matthew 19:4-6)
  4. The sanctity of human life in the womb (Psalm 139:13-14)
  5. The dignity of all people, regardless of gender, skin tone, or ability (Genesis 1:27)
“Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.”

1 Peter 3:8 ESV
