What is Trail Life?

Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered, outdoor adventure program that empowers boys to develop character, leadership, and faith through hands-on experiences. Rooted in biblical values, Trail Life encourages boys to grow spiritually while building practical skills and strong friendships.

Our troop OR-1857 is dedicated to providing a fun, faith-filled environment where boys can explore the outdoors, serve their community, and strengthen their walk with Christ. We meet regularly for exciting activities, service projects, and outdoor adventures, all designed to help boys become godly men of character.

Who can join?

For boys 5 years-old through Middle School

When & where do you meet?

We meet for troop meetings at Jacksonville Presbyterian Church on the first 3 Thursdays of the month. We meet once a month for our fun Hit the Trail event.

Is there a cost?

We believe every boy should have the opportunity to participate in Trail Life, so our troop covers the cost of uniforms and program materials. However parents are responsible for the annual Trail Life USA membership fee of $42.27 per child. If financial assistance is needed, please let us know - we want to make sure every family can be a part of this adventure!
